The Portland Trail Blazers, despite their front office efforts, don’t seem to be going away.
The Trail Blazers remain 2.5 games out of the final Western Conference qualifying spot, but that three-game losing streak has made life difficult for them.
Now they head to Indiana to take on the Pacers, who have struggled as favorites this season, and now expect to cover a big gap. Let’s see what the number is and find a better bet on this Sunday afternoon showdown.

The Pacers are 12-18-1 as favorites this season and I’m not confident in their ability to win by margin against any team in the league.
Yes, the Blazers are shorthanded, but the team has struggled in several games against teams well above their weight class, like the Nets on Friday night. The team can hang on with a Pacers defense that is 27th in defensive rating this season and faces a host of young players the same way Portland does.
There’s way too much variance in this game to score the points with a home favorite coming off a 3-point road win against the Houston Rockets as a 4-point favorite. Even with the Pacers returning home and the Blazers in freefall, the spread spread too far toward Indiana.
I also see the Blazers as an intriguing moneymaker, but I like the points.
