Jazz vs Warriors Predictions and Odds (Met Warriors as Home Underdogs)

Two Western Conference playoff teams headline the NBA on Saturday.

The Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors are both struggling for the playoffs, but will be looking to get things back on track as we head into the final week of the regular season at each other’s expense. Who has the edge with Steph Curry still on the Warriors shelf? Can the Jazz move forward after recently ending a five-game losing streak?

Before we offer a better bet on this one, let’s check the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook:

Money line:

Total: 217.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

While the Jazz managed to snap their five-game losing streak at the hands of the hapless Lakers, I’m in no rush to back them as road favorites against the Warriors.

Golden State may be struggling without star guard Curry, who is still nursing a sprained foot, but the team has remained above league average on the defensive side of the ball. Offense has been a problem, however, as the Dubs’ offensive rating has only been better than the Orlando Magic since March 17.

However, the Jazz should bring some relief to the Warriors. Utah’s defense has fallen off a cliff over the past two weeks, allowing more than 117 points per 100 possessions, according to NBA.com, which has been outside the league’s top 20 since March 17.

It’s a good place for Jordan Poole to cook and the Warriors’ offense to burst while respecting their defensive principles. I don’t believe in this jazz team and I love that Golden State hits and breaks its four-game skid.

LEAN: Warriors +110
