Gambler turns 60p bet into £157,865.59 by correctly predicting each outcome

A player turned a 60p bet into £157,865.59 this weekend when two Premier League teams came from behind. The punter correctly predicted all 16 Premier League and Championship results on Saturday at odds of over 263 109/1, and while the majority came with relative ease, late comebacks were needed in two top-flight games at 15 hours.

Burnley were one of the sides backed at 17/10 to beat Watford, and looked set to be a loser after the relegation-threatened side went down 1-0 at Vicarage Road in eight minutes, but the Late efforts from Jack Cork and Josh Brownhill ensured the bet was still alive. However, the punter would no doubt have had an eye on events at St Mary’s, where Southampton and Crystal Palace appeared to be playing out a 1-1 draw… stepped up Wilfried Zaha in the 92 n/a minute to change all that, securing a late winner for the visitors 2/1 – meaning the client just needed Manchester City to beat Leeds at Elland Road at 5.30pm to ensure the monster acca lands – which is what they did emphatically, winning 4-0.

Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati said: “Our punter played an absolute blinder here, correctly predicting the outcome of all 16 games in the top two tiers of English football on Saturday – and we have no doubt some of their winnings will be spent on a The Wilfried Zaha shirt after the spectacular Palace man winner kept the bet alive.”

He added: “What makes ACCA even more impressive is that there was only one draw out of the sixteen games, and our client managed to pick it; really remarkable things. and we are delighted.”
